06. – 08.03.2018: ecobuild 2018 (London, UK)

The ecobuild 2018 in London will put sustainability firmly at the forefront of the agenda. It will give the built environment industry the opportunity to highlight, debate and present big picture issues, what matters to it now and in the future. It will bring the latest technology; the freshest thinking; and the most innovative materials to keep you at the forefront of the built environment. Surrounding the ecobuild conference will be curated areas, shining a light on true innovation and demonstrating the different ways in which disciplines within the built environment sector approach sustainability.

On March 6th () EPEA CEO Prof. Michael Braungart will deliver a keynote address considering the strategies that need to be put in place to support a truly circular economy.

As part of the BAMB project, EPEA will take part in the ecobuild 2018 with the exhibition called ´Reversible Experience Modules´ (REMs), which showcases how Materials Passports support Cradle to Cradle and circularity in the built environment. The exhibition was launched recently in Brussels at the international BAMB stakeholder network event. There will be a total of 41 physical building products integrated into the exhibition and another 29 products on display through text on panels. All products are chipped and QR-coded so visitors can see the Materials Passports for the products on their phones.
